I'm what they call a suburban thug, I was like Donald Faison in Clueless, I wasn't a good fighter, but I fought a lot. A lot of my fights in school looked like I was losing because my braces created a lot blood.

I sold dat fire though, I ran trains, I robbed puerto rican out of his sweatpants money, I got illegitimate kids and shyt, my grandmotha raised my cuz some kid shot my school mother teacher in the head for no reason, my dad is a junky and talks about his "church boy" haircut when I come to visit, I may have raped a couple of ladies and I may have been raped once or twice. Half you nggas is part-time, oranges at the end of football game type nggas, 1 weekend out of the month, 2 weeks out of the year, type nggas, Cowboy starter jacket wearin type nggas, Wu-Wear collecting type nggas, I had holes in my zapatos ngga, I'm still a thug too nggas

I played the thug role in highschool and my early twenties. Played that shyt real good too... fukking hoes and committing all types of misdemeanors and felonies..

Had an epiphany at age 23... stopped smoking tree, and realized my whole entire persona wasn't really me.. Realized it was something I saw other nikkas doing and stuff I got from movies.. So I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to be able just walk away from that lifestyle without having to catch no bodies, get locked up, or bring no unwanted babies in the world by some random bytch.... looking back there were too many close calls..

Just wish the rest of these dumb nikkas would wake up stop trying play the thug role before its too late

I wouldn't say I was a thug or it was a phase, I did what I had to do to survive. My Moms and Pops was gangbangin, so was all of my uncles, some of my aunts and most of my cuzzins. Pops was in and outta jail and Moms sold crack until some fukked up shyt happened that caused some other shyt to happen that changed things forever

After that, it was staright poverty for more than half the decade. It's a fukked up feeling when the first day of school start and everybody got new clothes and shoes and you showing up wearing the shyt y'all was barely able to afford from the thrift store and some of your uncles old chucks.

So with a family involved in that life and not really knowing any other way to get money, I had to do what I had to do and that was get it in the streets.
I done robbed nikkas, hit muthafukkas over the head with shyt for money owed, been ot with the work and a lot more that I'm not gon speak on.

Basically. I did thing that people would consider "thug" shyt, but it was just life shyt to me. I wish I couldve had it better, fukk them nikkas that have everything they want and still wanna be out in the street acting like they this and that trying to be thugs just becuz they think it'll make them cool.

I'm not the same person I was before, I mean I got that mentality and street smarts, but now I got shyt and I ain't gotta get it that old way. I'm a man. fukk the bullshyt.

What qualify as a thug phase though. Half the nikkas that I grew up with doing dirt became cops. The other half dead. No lie a nikka was a square, To me it wasn't bout playing thug it was adapting to the environment I was in. As a young nikka from Haiti a 3rd world country my ma wasn't having that thug ;ife shyt bc she did'n want AIN't to get caught up. But it ain't a easy world out there when u surrounded by hood ass nikkas constantly testing what you bout, why ya grades good, why u ain't nickel and diming. A nikka had to put up a front it was a survial game for me. I fought a lot of nigas bc I was haitian and had a thick ass accent. It was bout establishing myself so I don't get prayed on. The only thing I would change if I could go back was not to hold my self back scholastically so other nikkas woul accept me. By far the dumbest shyt I ever done
