One of my very good childhood friends is jewish.
Another friend, Ryan, was a real one. Dude would give you the shirt off his back. Escaped the Israeli army. Dude didn’t judge anyone. He died on my birthday a few years ago. I think about him all the time.

I recently heard a take that the average american doesn't know any jews
I'm from the NE and know several so it sounded ludicrous but thinking about the way the country is set up it's way more probable than not

Judaism is a tribe not a religion. Most Jews don’t even believe in god and think the Bible is metaphorical rather than literal. So that answers that questions

My middle school math teacher. I don't remember 100% but I'm pretty sure my high school sociology teacher also. Anybody else their Jewish identity or they weren't significant enough to recall.
