My thread about quitting my miserable job made me want to know the opposite. How many of you actually enjoy your job? The kind of work where you actually enjoy being there, enjoy the work, get on well with your co workers, etc. Is shyt like this even possible or are most jobs something we are supposed to tolerate because it pays the bills.
I had a job two years ago which unfortunately I lost when covid hit and I genuinely loved that job. I was very good at it, it suited my personality, the money was good, it was challenging but also fun, never the same shyt everyday and I had the potential to go to the very top. I also got on well with my colleagues. We used to go out on most Friday nights to bars. It was very rewarding and great job. I genuinely loved going in everyday and I never experienced any Sunday night dread. I was so busy at work the day, weeks and years just flew by. I’ve been looking for a job that gives me that same feeling and the same hit the last two years with no success and I’m just trying to know if I was just lucky and jobs that give those kind of feelings are rare and most of us are jus supposed to endure our jobs instead of loving them.
