I’m in good - very good shape for my age

I know my strength and tolerance

I know how agile I am

And I know that a 69 year old man who is probably now 75 lbs overweight for his height is not getting a clean shot on me.

But I stand by my original claim. I’m not some heavyweight boxing contender at all, but I’m 32 and in good shape and a former college football player, and in 2019, a 69 year old out of shape Larry Holmes isn’t winning a fight against me.

Folks stay underestimating these athletes. They on a whole other level than most can even imagine, let alone just having better knowledge of the sport and positioning that regardless of age will give them an advantage. I’m sure he still “looks good” for 69 but he doesn’t have the punch power he used to and wouldn’t have the stamina of a decent in shape person more than 1/2 his age.

I’m 32 and a former college athlete (NOTHING like Holmes in his prime ) and I’m pretty sure I’d wash him these days specifically because of his age more than anything
