I had a small job that would get me money. No allowance. I got $2 a week. That wasn't too bad back in the day.
I had neighborhood friends who had a crap ton of Star Wars toys. Tons of action figures, Tie Fighters, X-wing fighters, the Death Star. Totally spoiled. I had like about 6 action figures, a Hoth planet diorama, and a Land Speeder.
