My glasses are thick...they told me LASIK wouldn't even matter and it'd be a waste of money....
But I just got my reup of contacts so I don't look like a chump (even tho I don't lol)

My dad's a doctor and he recommended against Lasik surgery. I wanted to get it and he said something along the lines that at it's current point in time it hasn't been perfected and it's really high risk. He told me there were some cases were slight faults on the doctor's part during the surgery made patients lose their sight or hindered it.
I like my contacts though, especially when i go skating or do any physical activity. I had to stop wearing glasses cause I was sick and tired of taking them off while skating and wasn't able t see or when I would skate with them on they would fall off my face and get scratched up.

But them I copped some Versace joints
Then I went low profile with the RayBans...
Now the only issue I have with glasses is the cost of thinning the lenses
and the frame limitations due to having a stronger script

I prefer contacts, but I spend some gwap on my glasses. Besides watches, glasses are the only "accessory" I do spend money on. I got a black prada pair that kinda give off a Clark Kent vibe without being overly hipster.

Been wearing glasses since like 2nd grade, I'm nearsighted as fukk. Like, I literally wouldn't be able to read what's on my monitor without them.
Runs in my family hardcore...both my parents, my younger sister, and all my grandmas/grandpas wear/wore (prescription) glasses, we're some non-seeing ass nyggas.
I can't do contacts though. Tried them in high school but I always just ended up dropping them on the floor.
