Wish I hadn't jump the gun for a TV a few months back. I would have waited for that KS8000. The TV I got now is great but I'm gonna be without HDR for a while... At least until OLEDs with input lag in the 20-30ms range are the norm.

Hopefully by that time, these 4K (native) projectors will be more affordable.

I got monitors more expensive than most people Tvs around here
but no 4k tv yetBarely watch TV for the past 3 or so years and if I do, its netflix (not sure if netflix even has 4k option) and havnt played a game on my PS4 since battlefield hardline beta and before that - GTA 5 when it came out for PS4
if I see a good deal this holidays ill grab one though
I'm an active poster w/o one and not broke or young and it won't set me back like that to buy one. I want to make sure I got the right tv for me at the right price tho first. I don't want just any ole 4K TV. Been doing research, tho I don't need all the bells and whistles either, just got to be all around solid at a good price (it's silly to just spend top dollar on something if there is an alternative that is comparatively as nice, for less can be had).. I think I'm going to go with this Samsung model.

After perusing that review tho, I'm almost 2nd guessing that particular model, tho I hear it's great for gaming with only 20ms for latency, but just isn't as good as some others for video. Thing is, I'm both a heavy, competitive gamer and a bit of a cinephille as well, so I'd ideally want a tv that does both really good. I always wait for Black Friday for tv purchases, usually.
I been considering buying one for nearly 2 years, but I kept reading about advances in technology, such as the HDR thing and all that, so I just sat on it for a while. I think the time is right tho now.
And yes, Netflix does have 4K content supposedly, but you won't even see the option to view any if you sans 4K equipment, so I've heard/read.

me but mine dont got HDR 10 but i can play in HDR on my LG 55 the one that was in that bundle with the One S a couple weeks back all it says is "allow HDR" or some shyt like thatWith all the PS4 Pro & Scorpio arguments going in here...who actually has the right TV to get the most out of the console you in here stanning for?
