At a previous job I had, I tested HIV medicine on HIV positive participants. I had to do some research for that job, and I came to learn that it is actually very hard for a straight male to get HIV from an HIV positive woman (vaginal sex only).
Most of the participants I tested either got HIV from sharing needles or were born with it (and of course some gay people).
HIV isn't a death sentence at all anymore, so I see society being much more tolerant of it as we move forward. Unfortunately, there are so many myths about the disease. Some of my co-workers were even scared to shake hands with the HIV positive participants. You're not going to get HIV from shaking hands. Just shyt like that.

I think I remember her saying it was a medical procedure that went wrong or had a "Vagina breaking" side effect. I think she's fine now though. Like it's fixed but it still gets thrown in her face.
