to me jordan is the more skilled player as far as footwork, but in terms of impact on a game lebron is just as good, and better in some areas, no matter the ring count.
jordan played in an era where there werent many big, freaky athletic, skilled wing players so the bulls always had a huge advantage and were always the favorite.
if they played in lebrons era i highly doubt they would still have gotten 6 rings.

So if Bron plays like he did in games 5-7 for the next 7 years and his teammates don't get the job done then he's out of the running but if he plays like 2011 and the teammates ball out and he gets 3 or 4 more rings then he somehow surpasses Jordan?

Lebron is probably the second greatest perimeter player of all time, but he's not below Jordan because of ring count. He's below Jordan because Jordan was generally better at most aspects of the game. These threads are so worthless.

Exactly. This ring count shyt is so silly. That said, if Kyrie turns into Steph and Love finds his way and they carry him to 4 more rings, the goal post moving would be epic
. That's my main beef with the rings argument, people only rock with it when it suits their argument. If dudes were straight 100 right down the line with it, I could respect it.
