the outlawz were dope. and even when they lost their best 2 members, they were still solid. lets not act like this was a max b situation where gang green & french montana would ruin everything.

the only tracks the outlawz ruined are the ones they shouldnt have been on. the ones that didnt fit their style at all. its like youre listening to a mixtape where they let the original verses play thru, and then somebody comes in and starts freestyling at the 3 minute mark. thats what alot of those tracks sound like. the problem is, there were alot of them. pac shouldve had a west coast and/or a midwest rapper in his stable to throw on half of those tracks instead.

and yea, theres alot of songs where pac shouldve had more verses. "hail mary" wouldve been a goat record if it was just pac. thats not a knock on the outlawz, cuz their verses werent bad. they just didnt fit on that track. meanwhile, makaveli was pac in prime form. possibly at his peak, and hail mary was the signature track. then when youre waiting for that GO HOME 3rd verse at the end, pac is nowhere to be found. and instead, here comes the outlawz freestyling in bad audio on a "retail album". not their fault tho.

I never liked any of the outlawz :yeshrug:

there were verses here and there that were :gladbron: but the rest seemed like :trash:.

No disrespect to them or Pac, just always felt like they wouldn't be relevant at all without Pac. The same could be said for most of Junior Mafia minus Cease and Kim.

certain songs Pac made you fiend for a 2nd verse and then Big Syke or a random Outlaw would come in and lower the level of greatness of the song

me and my nikkas still die on Picture Me Rollin when the verse comes in I GOT KEEEEEEEEEYS MOVIN FROM OVERSEEEEEEAS :dead:

Put me in the school of people who really don't mind most of the outlawz verses.

It's not that outlawz were wack (they weren't) it's just that you just wished you had more Pac verses.

All About U is the first one that comes to mind. Pac's flow and swag over that beat is undeniable and you just wish he had that track all to himself. I know the video version had that 3rd verse but it felt tacked on.

Actually when you really take a step back and look at AEOM the shyt is a feature fest. Again... not hatin cause a lot of the features were dope but some of them you just wish Pac did it solo.
