Tabbed browsing is an interesting invention, for sure. In many ways it reflects how fragmented we've become as we hop from one distraction to the next in ever increasing increments.
Thing is each tab represents an open loop, an incomplete quest, a potential "What if?" that remains unanswered as you ran off in chase of the next.
With that in mind and keeping the vibe focused it got me thinking about the old school way of doing things. One tab at a time. I wonder what effect that would have? Maybe just limiting it to a handful would be best in these modern climes. Its interesting, if you stop and think, in many ways the net is akin to training wheels for parallel processing when we've been serial beings for much of recorded history.
Up until now I'd never considered this but it all seems so obvious when you think about it.
