what were you eating as a vegan/veg?

All types of bean, quinoa, kale, fruit, sweet potatoe, etc.

I just love chicken bro. Trying to convince myself that being plant based is healthier.

Just tried my third recipe from Thug Kitchen but this one was a bit of a dud.

Made a creamy cauliflower herbed pasta but the sauce came out too pasty and I forgot how much I hate cilantro and damn near ruined my bowl by adding it for topping :hhh:

The pumpkin chili i made a couple weeks ago from Thug Kitchen was fire though :blessed:

Not that hard. Just requires some discipline, and knowledge of good recipes. I'm a vegetarian for the most part. Been vegetarian for the last 3.5 years.

What differences have you had since being meatless?

Any benefits?

I have a family history of hypertension. Despite being in great shape, I used to have readings averaging 150/90. within 2 months it dropped and stabilized at about 118/78.

Wow thats great to hear. I am in the process of becoming a Vegan.

Nutritional yeast, mushrooms, seitain, extra firm (pawse) soy, beans, tempeh, whole grain rice, quinoa, potatoes, all the colorful veggies and fruits (pawse duex), whole grain pastas and breads... and oatmilk or almond milk and you gucci anything i missed quote this post... im out. 1
