i still get 720p rips of movies less space and it looks fine

I spent some years in the a/v industry, when it comes to your eyes and ears, the best quality is worth it and you can see the difference. If 1080 is the highest available, that's what I need.

You get a pass because it sounds like it is required for your career, I've known people to buy expensive tech they don't need and complain they don't see any difference, leaving me like 'why did you buy it then'

naw he said "Its a marginal upgrade at best" then says 720 is fine, which means 4k is only a marginal upgrade from 720p. and that is like saying imax is a marginal upgrade from 720p or regular movies, which is not true..

However I am not saying he needs to upgrade, just dont make it seem like just cause 720p is fine with you, we cant tell the difference or we should be just as content as him. His post was also piggy backing of a post that said there was no real difference.

i can see the marginal difference but i dont pay for imax or get 1080p unless its an avatar, gravity, etc type movie
