How many years apart are you from your siblings?

Yea, when I have kids, I want them no more than 2 years apart. Have all my kids within a 6-7 year span and be done. I’m shocked when I see people with a 20 year difference. Imagine being a parent with one child off to college only to start back at square 1.

My Bro is 10 years younger than me. shyt has gotten considerably better between us once he got older and started carving his own path. I'm very thankful he isn't as adventurous or lackadaisical as I was when I was his age. Doesn't experiment with drugs, hasn't let our father's anger consume him or take up residence inside of him, doesn't drink or plan to keep nefarious company.

He shares alot of my interests in terms of reading, videogames and music and we connect on that, but he's forged his own path in terms of opening to new genres within each aspect and he pulls me along since I'm more than comfortable being stagnant with what I've already like and rarely seek other shyt; instead letting it find me, which isn't always the case. Plus it's such an overwhelming feeling for me to see him geek out over shyt he loves, like when we got the Genesis Mini and stayed up all night playing Streets of Rage 2 and Gunstar Hereos next to the Vinyl we copped but still ain't got a record player to play 'em on.

There's alot of things about him that I dislike at times and he can lay back a bit instead of drive himself towards certain shyt, but by and far he's a better person than myself, less flawed and I'm grateful as fukk for that shyt and him on a whole, 'cause with our Mom's the way she is now and our Dad being an eternal fukk head.....we all we got.

I call my brother Son, cause he shines like one.​
