And? What's your point? You omitted the fact that the club was over 100 million in debt and Mike had to take that debt on as well.

If this was a regular brother worth 500 million that had made his money in real estate, there is no way David Stern and company would have signed off on him buying the sinking albatross that is the Bobcats...

But since it was Mike, I'm sure they felt that his brand and star power had value as well as his liquidity and felt that his star power could turn the franchise around.

Unfortunately they lost 20 million in 2011 and are on pace to lose 30 mil this year. This is no shocker and was forecasted financially by experts, however, I am betting that Stern and company thought the Jordan name would incite fans to attend games, but it has not.
