i wish my current position did do bonuses..my last job i had 25K-30K EOY performance bonuses...those were clutch...on the other hand prior to covid i did get 2 separate raises in a year for this current position lol

Interesting going back and reading this thread. My last few posts were only about 1.5 years ago but my role and position has developed so much in that time. When I left my corporate job I had to restart from so far behind where I was financially and I wasn’t sure if and when I’d ever catch up. I am very fortunate to be where I am now. If I’ve learned anything, the numbers are always a nice metric but your happiness and peace of mind matter, too. I’m in a better position both mentally and financially now than ever before and the patience was well worth it.
