How much are you making and are you happy with it?

I’m at the early stages of my career so I’m not making much but I do work for a non profit and love what I do so far.

Imma have to utilize my skills and get me more money.

My professor whose training me told me that if I step my my game in finance I can do paid seminars and workshops in the community all over America teaching minorities about money.

Imma have to teach myself some lessons first and maybe after year I can explore these options.

Also looking to get my real estate license again for NY and NJ.

Unless you live in San Francisco specifically or have insane school loans I don’t feel bad anybody in here making 70K and up talking about they aren’t happy.

How u save breh or do u kust make a lot.. I make about 3k a month after taxes and my monthly bills are a lil less than 1k.. I should be saving 1000 easily but i got a couple bad habits..smoking weed, drinking, and eating out every single day at least 2 times a day.. I need to stop playing and start stacking.. I should have 50k in da bank easy

Honestly, I don’t think there will ever be a point where I’m like, nah, I’m happy with this salary. I always wanna make more. There’s always nicer houses, nicer cars, nicer women, no matter your income level.

When its all said and done I'll finish just under $130k unless I can lineup a few more big projects and I'm very happy with that. shyt just 3 years ago I grossed around $39k. I'm blessed to be in a situation where I can pay all the bills and have wifey stay home with our babies.

I work from home full time and I'm happy as hell. I'm not in the 6 figures 6 certs club like everybody else here but having a flexible work from home schedule has improved my mental and physical health by wide margins.

I wonder what the average is in the middle of America cause I feel like I run into 6 figure folks every hour in NYC and I get the same feeling when I’m in DC.

But then again when I go to Philly to visit my family and friends it seems like a six figure salary is way less common out there.

You sure that number is accurate? 2 years ago 30 percent of households (yeah I know that’s different from individuals) had income over 100k

But households are very easy as it’s combined. These posters are clearly stating what they make individually not their combined salaries with their families/spouses.

We getting a new contract in December the union trying to negotiate $25 for us

Easy ass job. I drop off mail bins and make copies for 3-4 hours and bs the rest of the day after lunch

115k solo salary; wife makes 2.5 times more and we just moved to Biloxi from Fort Lauderdale so money "should" go further in bumpkin Mississippi lol. I'm a contractor for the US Gov.

I was a union laborer apprentice for 3 years. That shyt wore my body down to the point I had to have knee surgery in April.

Climbing in and outta sewers, muddy trenches, working in the rain/cold. Lifting heavy ass pipes and other materials

Plus it’s no work in the winter so you sitting on your ass Dec-March.

Took a substantial pay cut but well worth it
