Yes, I am about that life, and I've curbed my usage since NZBMatrix got crushed. Before then it was even more.

And after today that shyt is gonna skyrocket cause I'll be streaming these Playoff games off the ESPN app on the 360 and that HD streaming eats up bandwidth.

:whew:....

Even with the cap suspension, I've been weary about not going passed the 250. I'm gonna kill that shyt before the month is through.

This.

Whenever they do put it back in place, then I'll tether more from my phone. I'm on Sprint and I get an LTE signal that is good enough for streaming HD so...

:manny:
Sprint doesn't have real unlimited internet. there's a soft 5GB cap. remember you're supposed to be using this on a mobile device so no way should you be using ridiculous amounts of data. i guess if you buy their hotspot service they'll give you more probably.

:heh:

I've used over 4 gigs in one night streaming NBA League Pass with Sprint when I first got an LTE signal at my house to try it out.

I wasn't throttled afterwards at all. I guess soft caps don't apply to me.

I'm on CM10.1 though.

Had quote this again just because it's hilarious when people just talk about things as if they know what they're talking about.

you have to excuse me i've been with Sprint since 2001 to now and at one point they had a soft cap. apparently they got rid of it but Sprints unlimited data is still dicey they say its unlimited but they say if you "abuse" it they reserve the right to terminate your services. what "abuse" they determine but i know for a fact the data hotspot has a hard cap of 5GBs. i don't use excessive amounts of data on my cell phone because its a tell tell sign you're tethering.

its like all you can eat. they say all you can eat but if you eat every single piece of food in the restaurant well... i use data on my actual phone excessively. i leave streams running on it all day in the car when i'm not even using it and at the most i push 4GBs.

i'm willing to bet if you push 5TB of data usage a month for a year straight before that year is out you'd get a phone call from Sprint so likely its not "truly unlimited" as they say they only say unlimited because it's a cell phone if you don't have a hot spot play how much data could you possibly use on it?
