Golden state closed the gap between them and every team in the west when they destroyed their team to get Durant. So if anything Durant going to golden state made the west more competitive.First let me get this out of the way: I'm not suggesting that it was Durants responsibility to 'Make the NBA great again'...unlike most C's fans, I respect his decision and understand why he chose not to come here.
However, if he had chosen the C's this season would be so much more interesting imo. GSW still leads the pack in the West, tho the gaps are closer. More importantly, LeBron has a serious threat in the East. I'm watching the Celtics, Raptors, and Wizards jockey for those 2-4 spots, and its dope, until you realize that none of them have a real shot at unseating LeBron.
Golden State almost has no chance of making it to the finals this year. In a 7 games series this golden state roster is not beating a team like memphis or the spurs.
IF golden state even makes it far enough to face the spurs, you will just a 4 or 5 game massacre.
Durant going to boston doesn't change anything, Boston still would not beat the cavs in the 7 game series. NO nba team can beat the cavs in a 7 game series this season doesn't matter where durant went.

nikka please that don't even make sense, so fast forward I'm at work watching game 7 Kd starts of strong first quarter he's 3 for 3 with 7 points he's not forcing his shots but you can tell he has a nice rhythm going...at my job we get paged out on a call so I missed most of the 2nd and 3rd quarter I come back for the beginning of the 4th Kd takes and hits a shot the announcers said something that had me like wtf "and with that shot Durant is now 7 for 11" or something like that. I'm watching the game like nikka it's fukking game 7 you'll don't let these nikkas back in the series you got a chance to get back in the finals and stake your claim as king of the league and through 3 qtrs of the game you've only shot the ball like 10 times wtf are you doing empty the fukkING CLIP. I couldn't believe that shyt like this dude is really bout to let this moment pass by so when he signed with the warriors in the offseason I wasn't that surprised
