I'd say a gorilla could probably bench 1000-1500lbs pretty easily. 3000 is very unlikely.

I highly doubt that

a chimp, 3k may be unlikely

but a silverback gorilla

A gorilla can bench half as much as I can. I arm wrestled a gorilla once and beat him... with my left hand. Those muscles are all for show. Like having giant calves and still can't dunk... which I can do by the way
