There's no set amount.

Some cats will hook a verse up for free for their people. I've heard stories of dudes rapin' newcomers on the price for a verse, and others about how dudes will drop a quick 16 for free, if they just wanna support.

I think Wendy Day wrote a piece on this. The reason why future probably charged so low is cause he probably knew it wasnt a good chance of it getting cleared. Just cause a rapper gives you a verse doesnt mean his label is goint to clear it so sometimes rappers wont charge an insane amount for the verse just to get the money knowing that it probably wont be cleared.
