How much do you make per hour at your first job?

4.25 per/hr at McDonald's when I was 16. I remember the owners coming to me and telling me I was their best employee after six months and gave me a 10 cents raise because I was coming in early and staying late over the summer.

I quit the next month just because of that and got a job at Sears a little bit after.

I had dream jobs I wanted to do (diesel mechanic for example) but for a variety of reasons it would be an challenge to try and go for that career.


Yea, travel, buy a car.

Having excess free time gives me time to most of the things I want. Having everyday be Saturday does get old sometimes though.

Maybe try and do some volunteer hours to see if you can handle a workload after a while

It's not worth getting paid pennies and going over the cap trust me on that
