You're not losing breh....You just need to put some resumes out to more jobs, right now....You have a little leverage since you already have a job and companies are looking for workers. Try to get with either a company that has contracts with the government or better yet a job with the Government. A bachelor's is all a lot of companies want to see on your resume anyway.....You have a leg up with that. Make sure you aim high when they're asking you what you want your starting wage to be. That's the time you can negotiate yourself into a good situation for the future.

nikka im from the hood, give me $10 an hour. Anything above minimum wage is generous these days.

When I finish my BS i hope to make at least 30 an hour though.

Based off of my current situation I need to do a lot of saving so 45 an hour but after I get what I need 25 would be fine.

Since I hustle online I'd be comfortable with $15 an hour (online) 24/7 - globalization and online money never stops. That's $132,000 a year. I'd take 10k a month salary and use the 12k to maintain the web bizness.

But right now Im doing working a career from home and online work varies. I have to find the right niche hustle, instead of 5-10 small hustles

25 an hour is 52k/year. Most Science based bachelor degrees will net you a position around the 40-45k range, provided you've interned with somoeone during college, and some positions pay higher than that.

Engineering grads started out at ~50k minimum, back when I got my bachelors degree. Hotshot Finance guys came out making 45k+, these days they make 50k+ coming out, and Engineers make 60ish($28/hr).

Here in Illinois, you'd be hard pressed to find a gov job that pays less than $40,000 a year, and some you don't even need a degree to get.

Check Glassdoor.com and see what they're paying these guys coming fresh out of college, don't think everybody's stuck in the 20's, because they're definintely not, people are earning good money out here.

Again, this is all assuming you went to college and got a degree. :whoa:

If you're in retail/service sector then I don't know what to tell you, I guess just put time in and hope they promote you to Manager? They usually make 35-45k and they don't need degrees either, I know a few people that went that route and they seem happy. Which is a HUGE "w" for them, cause I know people making triple that, and are always stressed about money.
