How much do you save per check?

I teach students to save at least 20%. Personally, I save at least $500 per check.

Starting to see the savings with me know longer driving to work too. Spent about $75 (gas & parking) per week.

Think I will start to save that additional $75 making it $575.

With more money conscious threads as of late, what about my brehs' saving habits?

20%. plus whatever else i can afford at the time. most of the time, it's between $300-400 on top of the 20%. at times, it was as little as $50. bottom line tho, SAVE SOMETHING!

I put away $100 each check. Not much but something. Was more but I been trying to pay down my car note so I can get that taken care of and have less expenses since I would like to move out eventually.

10% to a 2nd savings account strictly for emergencies

I do no less than $300...if I know I got some discretionary expenses coming up, (i.e. a trip, treating myself to something) I'll dip into the reservoir without draining it completely.

@HookersandIceCream Honestly, you just save what you can breh...its all based on how much you make and how much your living expenses are, even if its a $20 here and there that shyt adds the fukk up.
