I use newsgroups exclusively, but I'll torrent as a last resort.

how are newsgroups when it comes to having high quality blu ray rips? right now private trackers are feeding me but i could see myself hitting a wall at some point. and theres a lot of movies 10-15 years old that i havent been able to find good rips for

Depends on the provider/indexer your using really...

Only thing hard to find for me on Newsgroups is underground music.

what do you use...all the filesharing files came from torrents

I use nothing but DDL. If I have a file there's many ways to share it. Torrents is just one. With torrents, I open my computer to everyone on that network. And anyone connected can "leech" off of my files. This means they're downloading files directly from my computer. And that also means I'm uploading to theirs. Uploading large amounts of data draws red flags and that's why people get those dmca emails.

I've been file sharing since the turn of the century. It all began with a torrent program called napster. But just like we replaced the floppy disk, that's just an older way of doing things. I see absolutely no reason to expose myself in so many ways when there are alternatives.

I don't fukk with newsgroups either because why pay for something I can get for free? DDL means no money and no exposure. What's fukkin with that?
