They fix the shyt you bring it in for. And they fukk up other parts or 'loosen' up shyt so you have to come back.

It's a criminal organization.

It's why I make sure to watch directly every time they work on my car.
I been going to this particular shop for 2 years and I never had any out of the ordinary repairs....

Oil changes
Brakes

And that's it

THREE-OH-FIVE TILL I DIE
If we had more fathers in the Black community, brehs would know something about cars and wouldn't get raped by mechanics.

Brehs are literally out here clueless, hapless and helpless like when it comes to cars. :scusthov:
I speak from experience.

My car was fukking up. Engine light on and everything.

My shade tree mechanic homeboy "guessed" everything he thought was wrong with my car.
And that shyt cost me a lot of money.

Wasted money.
Unnecessary parts.
Wasted time.

I was standing on line in autozone ready to order another guessed part when I saw the scanner on the shelf.
I asked the cashier about it.....and the rest is history.

My car hesitated to start.
Mechanic told me that it was a switch in the steering column that needed to be replaced.

I plugged in the scanner and it said it was most likely a relay.

The switched would've cost me like $80-$90.
The fuse was only $13.

I replaced it myself and the car was fine after that.

i wish i knew that a few years ago.

spent $600 in guesswork electrical parts for my 96 deville

my mechanic couldnt fix the car and i couldnt get my money back for the parts.

i ended up having to sell that shyt for $1000 because it wasnt running after i spent $2700 buying it and another $600 fixing little shyt up here and there.

THREE-OH-FIVE TILL I DIE
***DISCLAIMER***

I am not a mechanic.
I know nothing about engines and transmissions and shyt.

I'm just posting shyt that worked for me. My experiences. My time dealing with MY CAR.

And the fukked up part about it all was that the nga swore up and down that his theories about my car were correct. Time after time. I felt like an a$$hole every time he installed a new part and my car was still fukked up.

He offered no apologies. No nothing.

Whats crazy is, men will put more trust in their barber than they do in a good mechanic.

Anything my mechanics tell me, I check and double check myself. When my throttle body was messed up back in February and I had to pay $800 in labor and repairs, I went online to verify the cost of the part and everything.

And I'm a woman :mindblown: but i'm not letting a mechanic get over on me by exaggerating the issue to fluff their pockets too.

Sad that a lot of men will rely on the next to handle simple repairs all because they don't have the knowledge and will to learn so they won't get financially raped. :scust:
