How much has your neighborhood change in the past 10 to 20 years?

There are tons of large old houses there cause it was a white area long ago. Niqqas moved in, whites moved out

When I was growing up all those big old houses were rooming houses or boarded up. Lots of the denizens of the rooming house game were also involved in the crack game one way or another so often

Rooming house = crack house

Now they are condoes

Little yapper dogs. White girls jogging. shyts crazy. The part they gentrified is near downtown and that's hip now.

I am always like

A crackhead sucked my dikc on that back porch

Now it’s inner city section 8 trash that bring crime and decrease property values. Let their children Wreck the schools, have no sense of community.

I hate when they allow section 8 in decent neighborhoods... good neighbors and businesses start to vacate

Now East Lib and Garfield which are close by have changed...

So my parents saved half they life to be able to move out to the burbs from the inner city

ima c00n cuz I recognize once good suburbs with middle class black folk have been overran with section 8 mfs who leave trash all in they yard and let they lil demons break into garages/homes

In my hometown mobile alabama its the same 90 percent black couple whites couple mecicans its was mostly white in the 80s when i cpme to visit from orlando its like its the same stuck in time in a way thats a good thing even tho alot of the younger kids are moving to atl. Mobile al is 60 percent black the city.

Winston-Salem, NC. A few more Mexicans and white folks in the neighborhood, but it’s still majority black. The same seafood spot off of cherry that my folks been going to since I was a kid is still there, and I still get goosebumps as I’m driving down Waughtown st and hit that left on Marble.

Downtown has been cleaned up a lot since I was a kid. Condos, new minor league baseball stadium, and a lot of yuppie whites down there. Black folks still holding on to some of them historic neighborhoods though
