How much is too much when tipping your barber?

My shop had cuts at $12 last time I was there. That was years ago. I would pay $16 or $17 and keep it moving. Always exact cash, hand shake then skate. If you are talking emergency, then you better break at least half the cost of the cut and make sure you explicitly thank him for doing you a solid.

Round up to next $5 increment. If it's $15 he gets the $20. If it's $20 he gets $25. However special circumstances may/will call for a $10 tip.

Me and my 2 sons get cut and its usually $44. I drop $65. When its just me I usually will tip $10. Treat your barber right and they'll hook you up to make sure you keep coming back
