This is beyond tragic. Most people in this country are barely surviving and yet they want us to believe that either party cares about us.

Sounds about right. My wife and I make over 250k and we feel like we're just middle incomers. We're not struggling and we live a good life and buy or do whatever we want but when people say 250k is a lot, it really isn't, after mortgage, child care cost and other expenses. Truth be told, we're lucky we bought our place at the very bottom or else, we'd feel like low incomers if we were to have a mortgage on a house at the prices they are at right now here. Our mortgage on a house we bought in 11 for mid 600's with taxes and HOA and insurance is only a little over 3k. Same house, at the current price, with taxes, HOA and insurance at the current interest rate is over 6k which is almost a whole months pay check. I honestly feel for the next generation if shyt keeps up.
