I remember I was on line in a gas station last elcetion Tuesday.
And an old Black man was talking to the cashier.
Brotha: "So who you gonna vote for for govenor?"
Latin Cashier: "I don't know yet. Who do you think I should vote for?"
Brotha: "Vote for Charlie Crist."
Latin Cashier: "Why?"
Brotha: "Because he's good."
Latin Cashier: "Oh. Okay."
Me (thinking to myself): "Damn, Charlie Crist is a democrat now. But before he was a republican. I guess he was bad before. Now he must be good."
And an old Black man was talking to the cashier.

Republican and Democrat aren't the only options. There are other "grass root" political parties, Libertarian being one of them. The problem is special interest groups tend to back the Republican party more so than the Dems. If we pull our support for the Dems, the Republicans would be on eternal 
status. That wouldn't be good either. I'm not a Democratic but this is one of the major hurdles we face as black ppl. We do have the numbers for a major grassroots movement if we have the backing of the young liberal next gen cacs that stumped for Obama but you know that movement would also have to include support for gay rights and you know nikkas ain't going for that.
