How much longer can these rent prices continue?

IMO non-citizens should *never* be allowed to purchase real estate unless it's a primary residence. And foreign companies should never be allowed to purchase real estate unless it's the site for a business (no rental/mortgage-based housing whatsoever).

Too many of these fukkers are driving up prices.

These supply chain issues are a taste of what is to come. The issue with the supply chain is a shortage of labor. Why is there a shortage of labor? People aren't willing to work for peanuts and be treated like garbage anymore.

People are unionizing, striking, and refusing to commit to jobs that don't give a fukk about them. Unless people get paid, these millionaires will have to keep watching as their stock continues to drop. They care so much about the stock market because that's where much of their money is. If your net worth is 2M and 1M of that is in stocks, you'll definitely be feeling some kind of way if those stocks continue to drop as the companies you've invested in hemorrhage profits and employees.
Once this catches on worldwide it's a wrap for the rich.

There's going to be a crash soon. Salaries aren't keeping pace with the pace at which rents are rising and a lot of those apartment complexes are going to be unoccupied soon. Not only is rent increasing, the price of everything is increasing, thereby eating into the limited savings people already have. Even if you 'own' your house, the rise in property taxes is going to severely hurt a lot of people. Once the price of gas goes through the roof due to that Russia, Ukraine war, say hello to hyperinflation when the price of everything shoots through the roof simultaneously...
Breh I just came from THRIFTY, a pack of chicken wings was 19 and some change :dead:

All of the makings of a recession are in place, but just a matter when not if it will happen.

No impact on the housing market(limited inventory, more diverse type of investors, supply chain issues, loans are much harder to get)

If a city has an NBA and NFL team....buy a house within the next 5 years

Never

We warned ya'll over a decade ago that this was coming but some of you did'nt want to listen

Every single city will soon be dominated by young rich whites who want to cosplay as progressives or woke

And the Black people will get the scraps and the police called on them when they look out of place

They have been calling me every day about these student loans despite the moratorium being in place. Nelnet is the worst.

IDK man it seems like something has to give. Otherwise all of this high crime is going to keep going up. Suicides are going to keep going up. Addictions are going to keep going up. More young people will live at home and torpedo their love lives = less marriage. This is getting ridiculous.

not sure if this applies to you if your loan hasn't been sold to another debt collector but here

nikkas really paying $6k to live in a shack in New York with roaches and no amenities. :pachaha:

do you know how many full/self service laundromats and gyms there are in nyc?

I feel like amenities are things people in suburbs value more than people who live in a walkable city.

I remember when I was a kid and lived in a building that had a laundromat, my mom wouldn't always use it. she'd either go to the one around the corner from us or the one a block over.

a gym is accessible to most people within a 25 minute walking radius.
