To that point, what's your opinion on an individual doing an FSBO? Should I just skip it and pay an agent 3%? I'd really like to keep that money in my pocket. I'm told there's no way that a non-agent can get their home listed on the MLS. Is this true?

That is true you do need to be an agent or have an agent for MLS listings. Trust me, the info and resources the average real estate agent has access to is well worth the 3% they earned.

In my area you can, it's an entry only listing. You pay a broker a flat fee to have it entered.From there buyers will contact you directly. Owners usually fukk it for themselves though. Scaring off prospective buyers, not knowing what they are talking about or being no shows. Real estate agents get a bad rap and after being in the business I can see why. Not all agents are created equal though. I don't think we are going anywhere simply because this is a people business. I have completed deals that the buyer and seller hated each other without even meeting one another. I can only imagine what would happen face to face. In a perfect world buyers and sellers should be able to communicate efficiently & effectively but they do not.

Apparently those dudes doing industrial realestate are making a killing. Making a million dollars in commission every month. Life must be gud.
