Due to the growing pussifying of this country (no winners or losers mentality/everyone gets a trophy, etc), I give it 10 years.

NFL and college football will still be here, but will most likely transform into something similar to flag football. They are slowly, but steadily moving in that direction every year with new rule changes anyways.

Dale Earnhardt, the biggest star in NASCAR at the time, died on the track and the sport still continued to thrive.

Nascar IS NOT Football, It is driving a car at 200 mph extremely fast. injuries and to a certain extent deaths are to be expected. shyt there have been a bunch of Nascar drivers killed while driving.

That shyt is apart of their sport https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NASCAR_fatalities

How many NFL or Division 1 players have died?

Only 1 NFL player has ever died on the field, and it wasn't because he got hit....it was because of heart disease.

But what is going to happen in the next 10 to 15 years that's somehow gonna cause somebody to die from a collision? and why was it not happening in previous years, with less protective equipment?

Just MY prediction breh. The game is only gonna get faster, the players only bigger and stronger. Eventually it will come to a head.

breh it's not even that it's deeper than just dying instantaneously.

15-25 years before we see a drastic change in the quality of play but once that happens the sport is doomed
