But bad things happen. Why is it bad to be aware\interdasted? How is it unhealthy?

I only take interest in the things that bring me profit or pleasure

many people however have a compulsion to know everything and be involved in mass affairs

that leads to them consuming useless and traumatizing info and tying themselves to affairs that otherwise would not damage their wellbeing

because most humans are detrimental to themselves and society the mass media they produce is going to be shyt

I choose to search for the things I value and emulate/intergrate those things into my life/course of actions

but really it doesn't matter
a life well lived ends the same as a life wasted so do what you wanna:yeshrug:*

Where would you be, cyke? :lupe:

Ehh, prlly doing the same thing :mjcry:

But I want to get the ball rolling in the tattoo studio. Really want to take that seriously this year. Be professional and make everyone (TheColi) proud. Then go traveling, hopefully with my girl. I, we, deserve an escape from my deary little town.

Edit: you mean life in general? Sad to say if I didn't jerk my life away I'd probably be a university student, traveling to Rome, Egypt Greece, Japan, Vancouver. I'm very much into history, art, psychology, law, mythos, etc. Anything right brain. But there's no way my hormonal body is putting up with anything it didn't create itself.

But as I grow and mature I'm working on my spiritual development, overcoming the problems I had growing up, learning about myself in order to feel prepared to handle school to the best of my ability, the internet is a great tool for that. Allows me to practice being myself especially cause I'm "so busy with work" that I don't make time to be social. And there's tons of material to learn from. But it is time consuming and addictive if one is not careful.

There is nothing like being outside. Social media is almost killing social skills of this generation. Giving a few of us an advantage, by making the sheep so very dependent.

Social media is literally a drug. People love people. And to see them everyday, showing of the highlights of their life on these screens so bright our eyes are physically addicted to the light; while the like and numbers aspect hooks us on small amounts of dopamine, satisfaction and validation. We've all become the Truman Show to varying degrees.
