Tbh you can get a cheap ass 1 bedroom apartpartment for 600-700is and up in a decent crime free spot here in the south. I'm renting a 2 bedroom with a roommate and we pay a combined 615 for 2 bed and 2 bath on the nice side of our city with relatively low crime. Plus they throw in free shyt like a small ass gym with a few stuff, free pool, free water and sewer, free television, etc. A lot of people live here permanently too. The rooms are 12 by 12 as well. I'm in college now and there isn't shyt to do here outside of the university but you can get by paying like 150ish for rent if you are really strategic with your living arangements and don't mind multiple roommates.


The only downside is that there isn't shyt to do in terms of the big city and they have some dumb mutha fukkas here who are borderline retarded and have absolutely no ambitions/goals in life besides "existing".


The white people here can be somewhat racist too in that inbred redneck way. Nearly every white person here(approx 80-90%+) is republican outside of any large cities. They like black people on an individual basis in the south but dislike black people as the whole while up north they like black people as a whole but don't really like black people individually.
