How much of a lack of professionalism do you tolerate for shopping at Black businesses?

Same as I take at any establishment. None! I don't care if that business changes ownership. It's out of the rotation. Cse in point. Kitchens N Kocktails here in Dallas has some of the shyttiest service imaginable. IDC if they offered me free food for life. fukkin up my order, placing a pick up order, and them claiming they never took the order, taking 30 minutes just for a waitress to take my order, etc., are all reasons I'm never stepping foot back in ANY of their establishments.

That's my point. Shes arguing like she knew. Your a receptionist. Just give me an appointment with the eye doctor. But I can tell when I first came there she had an attitude problem.
Thats why you just say “youre JUST a secretary. Ill ask the doctor for medical advice ty. Stop tryna play doctor” and just stop arguing. I hate secretaries like that they think they run the shop. She wanna fight go elsewhere or stop in during a time when hes there and let him know.

I went through hell last year over bad medical bs. When you get shyt like this you gotta be stern and on top of them. I yelled at my dentist last year. Guy let cavities eat up my mouth that were obvious. I was like you “i shouldnt argue with doctor”. It was in back of my head each visit “this indian dont know what hes doing”. And he didnt.

Eventually i blew up. Wasted months of my time. Said hed monitor a infected wisdom tooth only to say he couldnt do it after 10weeks of visits. Went to new place and every tooth i called out for a year straight, they caught without me saying anything.

Bad medical places can eat you the fukk up. Yell at them. All i can tell ya.

And bro. Some advice

East asian doctors > *

Dont play coli bruh with ya health. I know you mean well but the way they give out degrees today you gonna learn the hardway. I dont fukk with any janky doctors.

I now realize I don't have to "understand" unprofessional conduct because you're Black and somehow that's the standard

So I tell them off, no matter how small.
Told some eatery staff recently they'd never drag their feet with a cacs order, she laughed but her laugh confirmed my sudpecips

My eye doctor place is white owned. The receptionists and doctor be all nice and pleasant. Dont got them problems. :wow::mjpls:
Mine isn’t black owned, but they employee an almost all black staff. But the got me dialed in so I’m not about to just hop to another business to patronize.

My primary physician is black and I really appreciate that because it’s easier to have real discussions about black issues on top of everything else.

I went to one of my college black alums dentist office to get my wisdom teeth out and it was one of my worst experiences
Had to give him the :camby:and haven’t felt bad a single day.

All of this to say, there are plenty of great black businesses around that you don’t need to have a bad experience and feel forced to put up with it.

I'm willing to tolerate imperfection as long as they're pleasant, accommodating and improving.
But as soon as I sense a even a bit of rudeness, I just turn around, walk out and go to the place that always had better reviews than you but I ignored to give you a chance.
The Black business may not have the resources to compete at first, but that means they should be coming twice as hard with the customer service.
The biggest turnoff is if you don’t acknowledge me. If I walk in just say “ Sir we will get to you in a few min busy helping/taking a phone call” whatever. But if I walk in and you act like you don’t see me I’m out.
Right. Damn man I hate to stereotype but this happens to me all.the.time with Black customer service. I'm very patient if you just look at me and say something, but I swear they often never even acknowledge us (especially/ironically if we're also Black) and I'm just left wondering if I'm standing in the right place :francis:

I'm actually ecstatic when I get good Black customer service because when it's actually good it's often better than the typical stuff.
