Screeching even when I'm not braking
That’s your rotors
Or could be dirt/rocks lodged in

All of it is easy, the only hard part really is bleeding the brakes because if you don’t know how to do a 1 man bleed you might need someone else to pump the pedal for you

This cac makes some of the best diy’s for car maintenance on YouTube

That's your brake pad sensor aka brake wear indicator. Basically the thickness on your brake pads are running thin and need to be changed out ASAP. If you don't change it now then the pad will become so thin that it will start to scrape against the rotor. Once that happens then your rotors will be come warped and need to be replaced too.

Also that quoted price is high for a Ford Fusion. Buy the parts online and get tools from Harbor Freight. Do it your self. Plenty of Youtube videos to help guide you. It's not hard at all.

That’s high. Buy the parts yourself and take em to a mechanic.
This, and if you don't have a mechanic you know you can rely on and they not tryna stiff you, you might want to find one. Depending on your type of friend circle you might know one already.

When i needed new brakes on the Impala my Patna in the hood did it for free. Them hoes was slipping and i had to pretty much drive 20mph to anticipate stop lights Kuz if i didn't i was just gone have to run it lol. All i asked was if him or my brother could show me how the next day (it was dark at the time) and he was like "shiiit you might wanna take care of it now, i got you." Well shyt, that's a bet then. Only spent like 150 or sum and gave him a couple beers. I'm still lacking tho Kuz i ain't got my own toolbox yet
