I owe like a muthafukka. Claimed 8 the whole year so the feds couldn't touch my checks. Paid for a lot of nice things including tons of extra travelling. Making more now and I got a nice bonus coming which will pay for what I owe still. Not doing the same thing next year tho...

How does that affect paying taxes tho
You get money back because you are working for a corporation without an office. Your expenses (rent/mortgage, house related bills, internet, non-expendable company costs, company car wash service, dry cleaning, street or garage parking, basically anything you pay out of pocket that’s business related) help you out tremendously in your return.
I paid nearly $5000 in taxes excluding Medicare.
I barely make any regardless. I did get like a $2.50 pay increase when I switched jobs but that was starting in December so not much difference. Should reflect more this year. I don't think I reached 30 last year.

Then you should get back at least 2k breh. I can hook you and @mannyrs13 up with a guy using my firm's software.
It's all about the software. The better the software, the more you get back. Issue is tax softwares are expensive and some are not even up for sale to the general public.
A guy I know who owns businesses and part owner of 2 clubs pay about 2k back at the end of the year, and with this new tax plan, he will actually get money back

I want back as little as possible. Why would I pay the government MORE money than I have to? If you’re getting huge amounts back it means Uncle Sam is bending you over every time you get paid.
