540 lbs for sets of 10-15 reps.
No idea what max would be.

With leg press, it's nice to get caught up in the numbers but people tend to have such a poor range of motion (and bad foot placement) that they rarely get proper flexion in the quads, so for a lot of people it winds up being a quasi hip movement.

I still squat, but with less weight. At my age and height I refuse to risk injury so squatting is more of a warm up thing and I can put more intensity on the leg press because my back is more stable.

I would do hack squats but my gym doesn't have one.

I barely leg press these days and when I do its single leg. I'm not trying to load/unload that much weight when I could go do heavy squats instead.

IDK 10 plates maybe more?

I can comfortably do 6 for a set of 10 and carry on a conversation. Leg press aint really a hard exercise
