Cause I'm looking at a 21 rack raise here :lupe:

Well, it would technically be 15k because they gonna give me a little 6k increase here.

New gig is better experience, better title and higher salary :lupe:

Nothing at all. I work for a small business that treats me well, though, so I have turned down a nice chunk of jobs to keep this one :mjcry:

I want a real 9-5 soon so I can live with some structure and stack my bread. I'm gone as soon as a good opportunity comes around.

More money, better experience, better title... why are you asking the Coli about this breh? Don't be so indecisive...

I would only take equal or less (:whoa: not much less) if the job had amazing benefits or was a great opportunity. Almost left this corporate gig for a startup but they were offering way too low... and I don't think it's doing well yet

I work 7-3:30 :ehh: get lunch paid for all the time ...make almost 6 figures :blessed:...and my direct supervisor is on leave...:whew:

and I post on the coli all day :lolbron:

You're right.
I just feel comfortable and I like the people I work with but it's never worth messing up my future for those reasons

Climb the work ladder as quickly as you can!

Once you reach a good level you can chill there.

I just took a new position about 2 months ago that's gonna be about a 40-60% salary increase (hard to be exact since there's commissions involved :takedat:), so with that being said I'd need some type of crazy offer to make me leave, like an OTE well past 100k. And even then my current job would look at me like :dahell: for going through their entire interview and vetting process just to dip out 2 months later :laff:

I already know once I get my Bachelor in IT next year, ima have to start from the bottom and climb my way up for the simple fact that in that field they look at experience more so than education.
It's gonna be hard tho, beginner level in the IT field looking like $9 & up to, at most I've seen, $12/hr. I've been working for my current job for a year and 4 months, they hired me at 19 with a $19.74 hourly rate. It's gonna be hard getting outta my current lifestyle and start all over just to be in my career choice. I'd leave it behind just to be in something I like.

You're right bro.
I was being lazy to leave cause I got it easy here and I basically work 8 30 to 4. I also didn't feel like rolling over my 401K but that's easy.
I got to challenge myself and get this bread.

80 bands!!!

Tough call, I'm happy where I am now, just mired w/ poor management/ownership.

I'd say 25% on my base salary would be a nice jump.

My current job?

Simply put, something with more security. I currently have a temp gig that by all accounts, should set me up nicely for the next gig, but I prefer shyt to be guaranteed. I honestly need to be putting out applications now, but to be honest, there's certain things I need to learn/get experience with that this current job can teach me before I consider myself fully qualified for the next step.

Of course more money is nice and all, but I prefer security and a good work environment. I've never made THAT much money before so any kind of raise would likely allow me to really stack bread. Which would be :blessed:
