a chicken leg, 1 wing, hot dog and beans is two days of food? that's a chicken leg hanging out the bun, not a separate burgerThat's like 2 days worth of food on 1 plate.
I guess some of these cats only experience with cookouts are church functions and bus trips![]()
Nah, i think thats a real burger. also i see two wings.a chicken leg, 1 wing, hot dog and beans is two days of food? that's a chicken leg hanging out the bun, not a separate burger
You seem to be taking this topic very personally. If that's how you eat go for it. It is 2 days worth of food for me.a chicken leg, 1 wing, hot dog and beans is two days of food? that's a chicken leg hanging out the bun, not a separate burger
Straight up cookout plate. Nobody would be taken seriously serving a plate like this out of a restaurantPay?
Bruh that's a cookout plate
Mans said "Pay"
you going to a damn potluck, that ain't no cookout. You probably was eating coleslaw with raisins and olives in it, then tipped Margaret an extra $1 for an unseasoned chicken cutlet on a slice of crustless Wonder bread
Where do you live? I'm not tryingvto be funny but I have literally never heard of anyone charging for plates at a cookout. Usually, you just bring something to contribute.Nah, I don't do church or go on bus trips. I be kicking it with the fam and friends. The good cookouts are the ones that charge half price for a second plate. Most charge full price but some don't allow seconds at all. And if you get caught sharing a plate then there will be a fight.
yea, i'm not getting the how much meat do you need comments, the fukk yall be doin at the BBQ? people eat like thanksgiving at these things, hella meats and sides.
Right! My favorite memory of Charlotte was when I was doing a story at Park Road park(shoutout to the CLT bruhs) and I was covering a story that was going on out there. This family was having a cookout… maybe a family reunion and I was asking one of them if they wanted to talk to me about what’s going on. This old lady came up and asked me if I was hungry. I said no. She said get your butt over there and make a plate! I’m like yes ma’am! And went to fix a plate. They had bbq and seafood.. that shyt was good AF!tf kinda cookouts you going to that make you pay?

Who are these people that yall be chillin with that are just giving away food and allowing you to cook it on their property for free. It's pay to play were I be.

my salad gets eaten (pause)
seriously tho, people always comment on how i make really good salad combos and it's the only time they find themselves going for seconds on salad
aint nothing being taken personal, i'm just passing time in less divisive thread in TLR...and no, i don't think that's a big plate at a cookout, like i said, my experience is people eat like it's thanksgiving at those things. You seem to be taking this topic very personally. If that's how you eat go for it. It is 2 days worth of food for me.

I've lived all over the North East from NYC to Rhode Island but mostly in NYS. Bringing something to "contribute" would be considered an insult to the host, taken as an insinuation that they are not providing adequate nom noms. This is another way that a fight could get set off along with sharing a plate.Where do you live?
