Are you talking about in general or just a bday? YOu said you took your son to 6flags with all his friends. Thats like $40 a person (possibly less since they so young) unless you paying for over 25 ppl I dont see how it would cost 1000.

12 kids...includin him...parents dropped them off...2 of the parents came....to help me...we split em up...meet there....spent 558 after taxes...not to mention all the food...the cakes..n gifts...
adults had season passes..so it wasnt shyt 4 us..i jus had to pay 4 the kids..all parents involved do the same when its their child day
and passes to skip ahead in rides..n shyt..well over 1000
Unless you got it like that I couldnt forsee myself doing this every year. I guess it depends on your financial circumstances (because I do plantto "have it like that" then I guess I could see myself doing something like this). But when I grew up I wasnt get 1000 dollar birthdays and my parents were/are far from broke.
