Idk why people giv ehim flack for producing. Finding the sample is half the battle. We wouldnt hear these amazing "loops" if not for him. Kanye used to loop, so did Dre, Alch, Blaze (albeit they do it slightly more complicated). I'd prefer a nice clean loop than a nikka tryna get all Preemo chopping shyt up and they not even good at it.

I would too. Some producers abuse it though (later era dre comes to mind). shyt, I remember seeing a video with Southside "making" a beat, and all he was doing was nodding his head while his assistant was behind the boards making the actual track

this dude has NEVER impressed me. I be sittin here wonderin why nikkas is callin him a top new producer or saying he got classics or w/e. He is one of the most formulaic producers ever. All his popular tracks are literally just a single loop with nothing else

Aside from Bird On a Wire and a few joints off Cigarette Boats and the Mac n Cheese tapes, this guy is insanely overrated. Hes good, theres no denying that, but I dont see much for him aside from Heatmaker-esque throwback beats. I dunno, just me I guess

You've pretty much describe most off today's music regardless of genre. Technically superb, but lacking in musicality
