How much your barber charging for a fade?

When I go it's me and my 2 sons (both 16). I give him $50 for all. 2 teenage heads, 1 basic cut, 1 lil stylish, they both get eyebrows, and facial hair done also.

I get edge (locs) and my beard trimmed up.

Basically $15x3 and $5 tip

The other barber who cuts my youngest gets a $5 tip, his cuts are free. Cuz I give him all my younger sons Jordans, Lebrons etc for his son when mine outgrow em.

I live in NY and the current fee for a fade, caesar, tape, etc. Ranges around 12, 15, 20 (cut and to shape up your facial hair). shyt is ridiculous and I would never tip a barber.

I'm going to learn how to cut my own hair in the near future.

I used to get my cuts at Diamond Cuts out in midtown nyc...nice shop...cool owner...but like twenty barbers
My cut would cost around 25-30 including tip

Long story short I cut my own hair now...not because of the price but the issues I observed
one; these dudes catered to everybody...I mean everybody

I saw a crackhead bum up there one time and he got them to cut his hair for like 6...in front of everybody too
and dusty dikes and flaming cacs always up there cause word got around that celebrities would pop over there once in a while

It got to point where I could not trust their clippers hygiene wise


anyway I enjoy cutting my own hair now with no worries

My barber here in Florida usually charges $15 for a cut, but charges me 10 due to being a lady. I always give him $20...
