How often do y'all take leave or vacation days from work?

I'm feeling overdue. I don't like to take leave unless I have something planned, but work is catching up to me. I last took a week off in August to go on a cruise.

This is the first year I have PTO, so I'm going to Mexico with a friend. We were talking about a cruise, but I don't like being in the ocean that long.

Other than that, I've called out maybe twice in the past year.

and my boss knows it.

The one day I definitely take off is my birthday tho.

We take at least 1 big trip a year if we can, so I usually burn through all of my 2 weeks. This year we took 3 weeks off to go to Europe
