How often do y'all take leave or vacation days from work?

That's hustling backwards. I get paid on my days off so I ain't wasting them. Especially when they don't cash out anymore or carry over.

You have more than 6 weeks of vacation a year

We take at least 1 big trip a year if we can, so I usually burn through all of my 2 weeks. This year we took 3 weeks off to go to Europe

I work overseas..... I get a travel stipend included the package that helps offset plane ticket costs

EDIT: I'm a month in a half out from my next vacation. Going to Vegas

Yes the older black people at my job act like they're really scared to take off from work but they're going to get a whippin or something

I do get paid vacation, I just don't have any reason to use it. I enjoy being at work

Nope, i worked through the Christmas holidays, only days I took off were the days the building was closed

I had 10 sick days at my last job. Worked there 8 months and took all 10. I try not to take actual vacation days becasue those get paid out at the end

It really depends on the job. In my previous position, I only needed to take days when I'd actually be away from home. If I needed just a day or two to myself, I would just work from home. Before then I would take about 2 weeks throughout the whole year, but like 2-3 days at a time. I'd also schedule around company holidays, so like if we had off on a Monday, I'd take Friday and Tuesday off.

If you work in government you know that there's pressure to take your vacation days. I damn sure take my three weeks off. Plus I take 3 "sick day's "

Not enough. Lost 21 days leave in the last 2 years due to me not using up me leave

last week alone, I did 69hrs.. had 2 people quit.. another had a broke arm.. another just had a baby..

I'll be taking vacation in the next 2wks, just to wind down.. plus, it's slow season which makes it perfect time to.. usually every quarter I take a vacation..
