First 48 hours ain't no sleep on the schedule. I still slept through the P day briefings and on the bus ride to great lakes.
Sounds like an emotional problem. You made the right decision. Not even that serious though tbh especially if you not joining the army or marines. I can't imagine being grown and getting in my feelings because you fukked up and got a drill instructor to drill you.

I know in the Navy you get drilled when you don't address a higher up by the correct rank and title. Like if you call a Chief a petty officer they dig into yo ass.

I cant imagine being grown and thinking you can talk to somebody however you choose without repercussion because of a job title .
Im not even speaking specifically on this video. I mean in general (including this video). I dont do disrespect and I dont take threats of any kind. Maybe you do. Or maybe its not a big deal to you. Thats fine. Thats you. Thats not me. What you call an "emotional problem" is what I call a "learning opportunity" for the second party. Everyone doesnt respond to threats like a limp noodle as you do.

I ain't read pass here but they don't honestly. It's not like the movies. You only get drilled if you fukking up. If you're doing good and so is your division thin it not much yellling or any of that shyt atleast in the Navy. And drill instructors nowadays can get in trouble if they make fun of your religion, name, sexual orientation,etc or even touch you.
It's just a way of speaking. At the most "destroy you" means making you do pushups until you're tired. Serves 2 purposes: 1 is getting you to respect authority and 2nd getting you in shape.That whole "I will destroy you" shyt is a reason I couldnt do military. I dont let anybody talk shyt to me like that. The physical demands, no problem. All that lame ass mental fukk shyt they do is not for me. I wouldve been kicked out. A big group of my brehs from a highschool I went to all joined the Marines. They told me I wouldve been on the first thing smoking out of MCRD cause they know how I am.
Some cats are rebel to the core and wanna fight every fight there is to fight. They are often dysfunctional and cant fit anywhere in society because they lose focus of what the main goal is because they wanna fight every fight.
Some wanna fight the meaningless fights just because they wanna be like the type described above but at the same time often be quick to bow out or ignore the fights that really matter.

I got some sleep when i got to the reception since they had to wait for the rest of my class. But once we went to out company/platoons it was over. They worked me so hard i would fall asleep anytime i paused. Like waiting for the elevator and i'd fall asleep.
All the time. Just keep my ide on the screen, put my hand on my head to cover my eyes and make it look like im thinking and take several 5 min naps

I'll answer that question the same way I answer any question like that in the real world that we actually live in....I am whatever it is you whopped my ass and earned the right to call me.
Anything short of that, you just gotta figure it out with the context given if you are so inclined. So at the moment, Im a guy who said 'I dont let people threaten me or disrespect me regardless of who they are'. Aint nothing free in this world, and so goes threats and disrespect. You gotta pay for them.

And yeah i hear you but you have to understand those who put themselves through the shyt have an objective. That is the price, as you put it. Those drill sergeants who treat you like crap are the gatekeepers between you and your objective. Whatever it is.
I joined the military mainly because i wanted the college money. Me being an immigrant i was led to believe i didnt have many options for college money so i fell for it. But that's besides the point. My objective was to get that money. Im not from this country so while i have a vested interest in its well being since thats where i live, it wasnt no patriotic type bullshyt. I had a goal and going through bootcamp was something i had to put up with to reach said goal. I would HOPE everyone who joins the military has a similar objective that they are aiming for and willing to put up with them clown yelling at you.
Like you, i dont tolerate any kind of treatment but i know which fight to fight and which to just go with the flow. I knew the military life wasnt for me the day i got to bootcamp. Someone telling you when to get up. When to eat. When to do this. When to do that isnt for me. It's too structured for me even tho I do well in structired environments i hate it. So I got what i needed out of it and got out the minute my contract expired. If im not mistaken my exact words to the reenlistment guys whey they call me was "Lose my number and address unless it's my benfits package you're sending me"
