Probably not happening unless it's a well known case, and these days they'd be doing it for clout as much as anything else. That dude who killed Maleah Davis is likely food. But a random pedo isn't making enough waves to be a target. If they are located they might be subject to random acts or violence but I don't think people are seeking out your average pedo.
