Camping ey?

:mjpls:
Camping sounds stupid to me. I don't understand what a black person would get out of it unless a PAWG made them do it. :pachaha:

But I do go to national parks every few years . Technically, that type of trip is hiking since you have to walk deep into the middle of nowhere to see canyons, waterfalls, mountains, rivers, forests etc . Any black person that has seen the redwoods of California or the Grand canyon has gone hiking by default.

Camping is exactly what you described, except you stay the night.

You fish, hike, chill, cook, eat, play games....but instead of going back to your car and leaving, you sleep in a tent (I don't consider rv's camping). And you get up and go again or get up and pack up then leave.

Had a PAWG who loved to travel.

I told her that I am never going to a foreign country and hiking around. I wouldn't do that shyt in America anymore.

She couldn't understand that my Black azz roaming rural Italy somewhere.. with a white girl.. would be in danger. Basically anywhere else on Earth.

American cities are really the only places where Black Americans have some kind of freedom.

Villa Straylight.
I go a couple times per month. I'll be camping out Tuesday night weather permitting. My boy has a dope schedule where he works at 10am. So he can get off, chill, pack his bag and tent, go set up, hang out and cook, camp fire, sleep, wake up, coffee, breakfast, chill, pack up, go home, shower, go to work. No rush.
That's pretty dope.

I never went on a hike but I would love to go on one :noah:
If your in the states you can throw a rock a find somewhere to hike. The problem is you might like it and want more. Hiking a forest is different than hiking next to a river, vs hiking around a lake, and don't even get me started about mountains....anything with a view. There's so many sights, sounds, smells (good ones). It clears your mind. You might walk for hours then walk back or loop around and it was 10 miles or some shyt.

I went for miles long walks in parks along side the Hudson River in NYC many times. But I felt like those types of walks don't count since it's within a major city :mjlol:

But I had the same experiences with the sights, sounds and smells and clears your mind points.

Van Courtlandt Park in The Bronx is the closest I ever been to walking in the woods.
