That's why I stay dangerous
I can Fight, Shoot and Run. Not too many people can beat me in all 3. 
I stay strapped. Shooting is a my last resort and it will be set up so I can claim self defense.
I have no shame in running if a W is not looking likely.

Not as much. It was bad when I came back from OIF 1. I was always looking for my M4 before leaving the house because it felt unnatural to not have it slung over my shoulder. I would drive in the middle of 2 lane roads because I was scared of getting hit by an IED.
I still scope out exits and possible items for concealment and create scenarios to be prepared for as much as possible. I actually feel more comfortable in the hood because at least they know me and I know them.

Avoid places where hordes of shiftless, young nikkas are just loitering, constantly fidgeting looking anxious. Unless your carrying, then by all means.
But even still, why invite that energy if you see it on the horizon, best to just avoid and put that pride to the side

Yeah at night, I assume something bad will happen if you stay out long enough.
